Michael A. Morris

Michael A. Morris, 50, passed away unexpectedly at home in Philadelphia on October 31, 2017. His wife and soul mate is the former April Marie Kovalchik.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of Bobby Jean Smalley and the late Wafer Prior. Michael has one younger brother, Bobby Lee Smalley. He is also survived by his in-laws, John and Rose Mary Kovalchik; brother-in-law John Kovalchik, Jr. and wife Colleen; sisters-in-law, Lynn Kovalchik and Melanie Kovalchik and nieces and nephews, John III and Jessica Kovalchik, Jacqueline and Nicholas Pinto and Ian, Kathleen and Elizabeth Kovalchik; cousins and countless friends.

A memorial blessing service will take place on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 12 noon at the Hudak-O'Shea Funeral Home, Inc., 115 Garfield Avenue, Olyphant. Msgr. Patrick J. Pratico, J.C.D., pastor of Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Dickson City will preside. A celebration of life service will follow held by family and close friends ending with a balloon release.

Visitation will begin at 11AM.

Cremation took place at the Delaware Valley Cremation Center, Philadelphia.
