Lucy Littman, 86, of Olyphant, died on Sunday at Mid Valley Hospital, Peckville. She was the daughter of the late Peter and Mary Kaspariak Youshock.
Born in Olyphant, she was a lifelong resident. She retired in 1973 from the Billig Shoe Factory, Peckville with 30 years of service. She was a member of Holy Ghost Church, Olyphant and enjoyed gardening, crocheting and taking trips to Atlantic City and Florida.
She is survived by three daughters: Joan Sherman of Tamarac, FL, Theresa Borgna of Olyphant, and Linda Cherochak of Jessup; two sons: Edward A. of Olyphant and Thomas A. of Throop. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Rose Marie Zipay Sacco and a son, Joseph Littman. Four brothers: John Youshock, Alex Youshock, Miles Youshock and Stephen Youshock. Three sisters: Tessie Sembrot, Anna Kopko, and Mary Evancho.
The funeral will be at 9AM on Wednesday, from the Hudak-O’Shea Funeral Home, Inc., 115 Garfield Avenue, Olyphant, with Mass at 10AM at Holy Ghost Church, Willow Street, Olyphant. The Reverend Phillip J. Sladicka, pastor, will officiate. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home.
