Louis J. Rose, Jr of Dickson City died on Friday, December 21st at Easton Hospital. Born in Bronx, New York, he resided in the Mid-Valley area for the last 50 years. He was the son of the late Angeline Bianco and Louis J. Rose, Sr.
Lou was the proprietor of Lou’s Pizza, Olyphant for over 40 years. He was a selfless man who always took care of his community by donating pizza to various organizations for functions or to individual families in need, expecting nothing in return.
He is survived by two sons: Louis S. Rose of Dickson City and Christopher Rose of Olyphant and one sister, Antoinette “Tootsie” Emmett of Jessup.
He was preceded in death by two sisters: Juline Rotell and Carmella DalPino.
Friends may call on Friday, January 4 from 3 to 5PM at the Hudak-O’Shea Funeral Home, 115 Garfield Avenue, Olyphant.
Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Blakely.
