Dorothy Theresa Zywicki

Dorothy T, Zywicki, 94, of Peckville died on Friday at Lackawanna Health and Rehab, Peckville where she was a resident. Her husband, Joseph J. Zywicki died on February 7, 2005. They were married for 58 years. Born in Peckville, she was a lifelong resident. Her parents were the late Joseph and Nellie Shander. She retired from Mid Valley Hospital as a business manager and was a member of the former St. Michael the Archangel Church, now Holy Cross Parish at St. Patrick’s Church. Her son Ron would like to make a special thank you to the staff at Lackawanna Health and Rehab and Compassionate Care Hospice for their care of Dorothy. She is survived by a son, Ronald J. of Peckville; a grandson, Brian and wife, Nicole; great grandson, Rhys; and a sister, Romayne Wilcha of Peckville. Funeral Servcies will be held on Monday at 9AM from the Hudak-O’Shea Funeral Home, 115 Garfield Avenue, Olyphant. Mass will follow at 9:30AM at Holy Cross Parish at St. Patrick’s Church, 200 Delaware Avenue, Olyphant. Msgr. Michael J. Delaney, pastor, will officiate. Entombment will follow at St. Mary’s Mausoleum, Dickson City. Friends may call on Sunday from 4 to 6PM at the funeral home.
