Christopher Kenneth Mead

Christopher Kenneth Mead, 58, of Throop, died on Friday at home. He was the son of the late Kenneth and Francine Bulat Mead.

Born in Morristown, NJ, he was raised in Basking Ridge, NJ where he was a graduate of Ridge High School, Class of 1983. Also, a graduate of Villanova University, Class of 1983, he attained his law degree from St. Thomas University in 1987.  Chris received his registered nursing degree from Miami Dade College in 2005.

He is survived by his loving sister and brother-in-law, Cynthia and Fred Turkington; two nieces: Shannon and Meghan Wood; an aunt, Nancy McGowan; cousins, including: Melissa (Mark) Snyder, John (Demitria) and William (Debbie) McGowan.

He was preceded in death by an uncle, William McGowan.
