Life isn’t measured by the number of people we know; it is measured by the number of people we have loved. Arlene was loved by many. She was an example of selflessness and caring.
Arlene Sabula Fedorchak, 83, of Florida, died on September 21 in New Port Richey, Florida. She was reunited with her parents, Thomas and Hedwiga (Helen) Trayner Cibula (Sabula), sons, William and Carl and daughter, Gay.
Born in Dickson City, she raised her children in S. Plainfield, NJ. She currently resided in New Port Richey, Florida and spent many years in Delray Beach, Florida with her companion Melvin Grossman.
She is remembered by her children, Joy Fedorchak Diamond, Amy Conforti, Lynn Posyton, June DeBlasio and Jill Fedorchak. Her legacy will continue through her fifteen devoted grandchildren, Kimberle, Leigh Ann, Christopher, Nicole, Heather, Russell, Amanda, Nicholas, Carly, Thomas, John, Zachary, Samantha, William and Anthony and her eight great grandchildren, Raileigh, Arleana, William, Dillon, Gabriela, Shane, Ella and Logan.
A memorial mass will be at 9:30AM on Saturday at Holy Cross Parish at St. Patrick’s Church, 200 Delaware Avenue, Olyphant. Msgr. Michael J. Delaney, pastor, will officiate. Interment will follow at St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Throop.
There will be no public calling hours.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hudak-O’Shea Funeral Home, Inc., 115 Garfield Avenue, Olyphant.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to United Cerebral Palsy of Northeastern PA, 425 Wyoming Avenue, Scranton, PA, 18503.
