Anthony Joseph Toth

Anthony Joseph Toth, 92, of Olyphant, died Sunday morning at home. His wife of 59 years, Kay Glinsky Toth, died in 2016.

Born in Jessup, he was the son of the late John and Mary Ritzco Toth and was a graduate of St. Michael’s School, Jessup and Jessup High School. He retired in 1994 from WEA Manufacturing, Olyphant.

Tony was a member of Holy Cross Parish at St. Patrick’s Church, Olyphant, formerly Holy Ghost Church. He was a loving husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather and great grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by three sons: Anthony, Jr. and wife, Joan of Olyphant, John and wife, Chris of Blakely and Michael and wife, Mary Ellen of Archbald; three grandchildren: Marisa Hobensack and husband, Eric, Teresa Sweder and husband, Rich and Brea Toth; a great granddaughter, Lily Grace Sweder; two sisters: Josephine Maruska and Veronica Kura; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by seven brothers: John, Stephen, Michael, Andrew, Edward, George and Joseph; five sisters: Helen Kura, Margaret Dubas, Mary Dubas, Dorothy Kudrec and Anna Toth.

Mass of Christian Burial was held on Wednesday at 10AM at Holy Cross Parish at St. Patrick's Church, Delaware St., Olyphant.

Burial followed at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Montdale.

Arrangements were under the direction of the Hudak-O’Shea Funeral Home, 115 Garfield Avenue, Olyphant.
