Ann Marie Mohrmann

Ann M. Mohrmann, 91, died on Tuesday at Carbondale Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She is the wife of the late John G. Mohrmann who died in 2000. They were married for 49years.

Born in Bethel, New York she was the daughter of the late John G. and Albina M. Bassney Diehl. Ann attended schools in Narrowsburg, NY and Beach Lake. She resided in Beach Lake for over 50 years and spent the last 10 years in Olyphant. A seamstress, she retired from Katz Manufacturing in Honesdale in 1992. She enjoyed collecting Indian dolls, coloring and sewing.

She is survived by two daughters: Barbara S. Olfano and husband, Charlie of Olyphant and Cheryl Phillips and husband, William of Maryland; one son, James J. Mohrmann and wife, Debi of North Carolina; three sisters: June Rollison, Leanna Young and Lasitta Cole; two brothers: Bob Diehl and Robert Marion; two grandchildren: Amy Barbine and husband, Eric and Chuck Olfano and wife, Rhonda; five great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Linda M. Mohrmann who died in 2018; a sister, Dolores Collins; and three brothers: Johnny, Jerry and Bill Diehl.

Family service will be held on Friday at 11AM from the Hudak-O’Shea Funeral Home, 115 Garfield Avenue, Olyphant. Graveside and burial service will follow at 12:30PM in Glen Cove Cemetery, Narrowsburg, NY.  Rev. James House of Beach Lake United Methodist Church will officiate.

Friends may call on Friday from 10 to 11AM at the funeral home.
