Alberta B. Kisel, 74, of Blakely entered into eternal life on Saturday at Regional Hospital, Scranton. She was the daughter of the late Albert J. and Sophie L. Ogrodowczyk Kisel.
Born on Aug. 1, 1943, she was raised in Blakely and was a member of Holy Cross Parish, Olyphant. Alberta was afflicted with cerebral palsy but never let her handicap hinder her love of life and family. She attended special schools for handicapped children in Throop and Carbondale.

Not a day would pass without a mention of how much she missed her parents and sister, Marie. She enjoyed reading and watching TV.
The family extends a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Majernick and staff, Monsignor Delaney for enriching her life and her great friend, Rita Piotrowski.
She is survived by her sister and caregiver, Joan Chrzan, Blakely.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Marie Kisel, and a brother-in-law, Michael Chrzan.
