Joyce Ann Youshock

Joyce Ann Youshock of Olyphant, died on Thursday at Hospice, Preferred Choice, Mid-Valley Hospital, Peckville. Her late husband, John Youshock, Jr., died on May 22, 2001. Born in Olyphant, she was a lifelong resident. Daughter-of-the-late Claude and Ruth Brugler Dando, she was a graduate of Olyphant High School. She retired June 2002 from Haband, Company, Inc., Peckville. She was a member of Calvin United Presbyterian Church, Olyphant. A loving mother and grandmother, she enjoyed shopping, bingo and trips to Atlantic City. She is survived by two daughters: Claudine M., at home and Tiffany A. Green of Throop; one granddaughter, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Shirley Thomas. Funeral Services will be on Saturday at 10AM from the Hudak-O’Shea Funeral Home, Inc., 115 Garfield Avenue, Olyphant. The Reverend Virginia Miner, pastor of Calvin United Presbyterian Church will officiate. Interment will follow at Ss. Cyril & Methodius Cemetery, Peckville. Friends may call on Friday from 5 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
