Anna Yuhas, 94, of Philadelphia, formerly of Dalton, died on Saturday at Riddle Memorial Hospital, Media. She was the widow of the late Peter Yuhas who died in 1971.Born in Olyphant on February 5, 1910, she was the daughter of the late Simon and Anna Guman Lazar.A former member of Ss. Cyril and Methodius Greek Church, Olyphant, she loved cooking, baking and gardening.Loving mother of Dr. Theodore Yuhas of Newtown Square and RoseMarie Dudas of Dumont, NJ and grandmother of Glenys Ann and Teddy Yuhas and Debra Ann and Duane Peter Dudas; she is also survived by a brother, Theodore Lazar of Fairlawn, NJ, a sister Elizabeth Mesko of Carlsbad, CA and many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by two sisters, Helen Popovich and Mary Pavlisko and 5 brothers, Peter, John, Michael, Joseph and Stephen Lazar.The funeral will be on Friday at 9:30AM from the Hudak-O’Shea Funeral Home, Inc., 115 Garfield Avenue, Olyphant. Divine Liturgy will follow at 10AM at Ss. Cyril and Methodius Greek Catholic Church, River St., Olyphant. Msgr. Stephen Hrynuck, pastor will preside. Interment will follow at the parish cemetery.Friends may call on Thursday from 3 to 5 & 7 to 9PM at the funeral home. Parastas will be held at 7:30PM.
