Leo F. “Popeye” Zarnosky of Dickson City died Sunday at Northeast Veterans Center, Scranton.  He was the husband of Elinor M. Kasha Zarnosky. They were married for 51 years.Born in Scranton he was raised in Blakely and moved to Dickson City over 30 years ago.  He was the son of the late Mary and John Zarnosky and a member of St. Michael the Archangel Church, Olyphant.  He was a graduate of Blakely High School and Murray Art School, Scranton.  Before his retirement in 1984, he was employed by Tobyhanna Army Depot with 30 years of service as an illustrator.He was a US Army Veteran of World War II serving with the infantry and a member of the American Legion Raymond Henry Post 327, Olyphant.He is also survived by a daughter, Lynne Zarnosky of Dickson City.Blessing, committal and military services will be held at St. Mary’s Mausoleum, Dickson City at the convenience of the family.Arrangements are under the direction of Hudak-O’Shea Funeral Home, Inc., 115 Garfield Avenue, Olyphant.
