Mary J Hines

Mary J. Hines, of Langhorne and formerly of Olyphant, died on Monday at Attleboro Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Langhorne, PA.  Her parents were the late Joseph and Mary O’Malley Hines.Born in Peckville she resided in Olyphant most of her life.  She was a graduate of St. Patrick’s High School, Olyphant and the Lackawanna School of Business, Scranton.  She worked in the Recorder of Deeds office in Scranton for 51 years.She was a lifelong member of St. Patrick’s Church, Olyphant and a former member of their quilting club.She is survived by a sister, Grace Langan, Levittown; cousins: Betty Chadwick and Gerald Costello, both of, Pompton Plains, NJ and Jack Black, Tinton Falls, NJ and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.She was preceded in death by a sister, Kathryn Lyons and a brother, Frank Hines.The funeral will be held on Saturday at 9AM from the Hudak-O’Shea Funeral Home, Inc., 115 Garfield Avenue, Olyphant.  Mass will be at 9:30AM at Holy Cross Parish at St. Patrick’s Church, Delaware St., Olyphant.  Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.Friends may call on Friday from 6 to 8PM at the funeral home.Memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph’s Indian School, 1301 N.
