Dennis D Diamond

Dennis D. Diamond, 74, of Scranton, died on Wednesday at Hospice Community Care, Dunmore.Born in Elizabeth, NJ, he was formerly of Cranford, NJ and resided in Scranton since 1993.  His parents were the late Harry and Florence Diamond.He was a graduate of the University of Alabama with a degree in civil engineering and was employed by Elizabeth Ironworks from 1960-1980.Dennis enjoyed bowling and basketball.He is survived by a daughter, Randi Hanrahan, NJ; a son, Mark, MA; two brothers: Louis  and wife, Frances, NJ and Stanley and wife, Joy, Olyphant; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews, including a devoted niece Carly.Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Hospice Community Care, 601 Wyoming Avenue, Kingston, PA, 18704.For on-line condolences, please visit: www.hudak-osheafuneralhome.com.
