Elizabeth M Hoynak

Elizabeth M. Hoynak, 96, of Olyphant, died on Saturday at Midvalley Health Care Center, Peckville.  Her parents were the late Simon and Mary Krenitsky Hoynak.Born in Olyphant, she resided in Michigan for over 35 years before moving back home in 1980.  A graduate of Olyphant High School, she received her Bachelor’s degree from Marywood College and her Master’s degree from the University of Michigan.She taught at Lincoln Park High School in Michigan for over 30 years.  She was very dedicated to her family and assisted in the care of her mother after her father died.She is survived by a sister, Rose M. Hoynak, of Olyphant; many nieces and nephews.She was also preceded in death by two brothers: Peter and Stephen Hoynak and two sisters Ann Farbanish and Olga Voros.Private graveside services and burial will be held at St. Andrew’s Cemetery, Blakely.  Arrangements are under the direction of Hudak-O’Shea Funeral Home, Inc., 115 Garfield Ave., Olyphant.For on-line condolences, please visit www.hudak-osheafuneralhome.com.
